What are bunny lines?
Bunny lines are the small diagonal lines that appear across the upper sides of your nose. You’ll usually see them most when you smile, laugh or scrunch your nose.
They’re created by a small muscle called the nasalis. Every time you scrunch your nose, this muscle contracts and creases the skin above it. Over time, those creases can become more noticeable or start hanging around even when your face is relaxed.
By gently relaxing some of this movement, we can help the skin crease less and make the lines look softer.
The aim isn’t to freeze the area. You’ll still be able to smile, laugh and make all your usual expressions—just with a little less scrunching around the nose.

What causes bunny lines?
They’re usually caused by the nasalis muscle contracting when you smile, laugh or scrunch your nose. Some people naturally use this muscle more strongly than others, which is why bunny lines can appear at any age.
As the skin loses some of its elasticity, the lines may become more noticeable or remain visible when your face is relaxed.
Can anti-wrinkle treatment get rid of bunny lines?
It can soften them by reducing the movement that creates the creases. Lines that only appear when you scrunch your nose will generally respond better than lines that are already deeply set into the skin.
We won’t promise to remove every line completely, but we’ll tell you honestly how much improvement we think you’re likely to see.
How long does bunny lines treatment last?
Results usually last for around 12 weeks, although everybody is a little different. Your muscle strength, metabolism and the amount of movement in the area can all affect this.
The lines will gradually become more noticeable again as the muscle movement returns.
Can bunny lines become more noticeable after treating my frown lines?
Sometimes. When movement is reduced in one area, a nearby muscle may work a little harder during certain expressions. This can make lines around the nose stand out more than they did before.
It doesn’t happen to everyone, but it’s one reason we look at how your whole face moves rather than focusing on one line at a time.
Will treating bunny lines change my smile?
That certainly isn’t the aim. We’re only looking to soften the small scrunching movement at the sides of your nose, not change the way you smile.
