Dermal fillers are a type of injectable used to add support, shape or volume to selected areas of the face. They can be used to restore changes that have happened gradually over time or to subtly enhance the proportions of an individual feature.
Many commonly used facial fillers are made with hyaluronic acid. Results are temporary, on average 6-18 months, and their longevity varies between products, areas and individuals.

What can dermal fillers help with?
There is no single reason why people consider dermal fillers. Some want to restore changes they have noticed with age, while others would like to improve the shape, definition or balance of a particular feature.
Not every line, shadow or change in facial shape needs filler. Sometimes the concern is more closely related to muscle movement, skin laxity or skin quality. Your consultation gives us time to understand what is creating the change and explain which treatment is most likely to help.
Different parts of the face need different amounts of support. A product and technique suited to the lips will not necessarily be right for the cheeks, jawline or under-eye area, which is why a personalised assessment is such an important part of the process.
Your treatment may focus on one specific area or form part of a wider plan designed to bring several features into better balance. The result should complement your face rather than make one area look treated in isolation.
Our most popular dermal filler options for anti-ageing & volume restoration

MOST POPULAR FOR ANti-ageing
Mid & Lower Face Rejuvenation with Filler
Restore support through the cheeks and lower face to soften signs of volume loss and create a fresher, more balanced appearance.
This treatment includes mid-cheeks, lower face and jawline, smile lines, marionette lines and and (if needed) lips and chin for a beautifully balanced finish.

Full-Face Rejuvenation with Filler
A personalised, multi-area treatment designed to restore facial support, improve balance across the entire face.
We’ll strategically place filler in the key areas where volume loss and sagging tend to show up first including the under-eye area, temples, mid-cheeks, lower face and jawline, smile lines, marionette lines and and (if needed) lips and chin for a beautifully balanced finish

Transformation Packages (2-4ml)
A personalised multi-area filler treatment designed to improve facial balance, restore lost volume and enhance definition across selected areas.
This is often the most cost effective way to treat multiple areas. The areas treated will vary from person to person depending on their unique anatomy and concerns.

Not sure what you need?
Start with a friendly consultation to discuss your concerns, assess your facial structure and create a personalised treatment plan.
You do not need to arrive knowing the name of the treatment or how much filler you need. Your appointment begins with a conversation about what you have noticed, how long it has been bothering you and the kind of result you would feel comfortable with.
We'll assess the relevant areas and explain the treatment options available. This is also your opportunity to discuss previous aesthetic treatments, your medical history and any questions or concerns.
If you decide to proceed, the skin will be prepared and the filler placed using the technique considered most appropriate for the area. Your practitioner will explain what is happening and check your comfort throughout.
You will then receive aftercare guidance and information about what to expect as the area settles.
RESULTS
Immediate, although swelling can temporarily affect how the area looks.
SESSIONS
Usually 1 session, with results lasting 6-18 months, depending on treated area.
DOWNTIME
None, although you may experience redness, swelling and bruising.
PAIN
Some, but we'll apply numbing cream to make sure you're comfortable.
Having an injectable treatment for the first time can feel intimidating. You may worry about looking overfilled, not knowing what to ask for or feeling pressured into treating more than you originally planned.
At Facebox London, we're a friendly bunch and our priority is to make sure you're comfortable. You will be encouraged to ask questions and take the time you need. We'll explain what is being recommended, why it may help and what kind of result is realistic before anything goes ahead.

All of the Facebox team takes a warm, down-to-earth approach and understands that many patients feel nervous before their first injectable appointment. You will be guided through the process in straightforward language, with time to discuss your concerns before making a decision.
Facebox London provides dermal filler consultations and treatments from its private clinic at 12 Maple Road, Leytonstone, London E11 1NB.

You do not need to decide this by yourself. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess the area you are concerned about and consider how it relates to the rest of your face. You will then receive a treatment recommendation based on the change you would like to make.
They do not have to. The result depends on the treatment plan, product choice, amount used and how the filler is placed. Facebox takes a measured approach, with the aim of improving balance or restoring support without overwhelming your natural features.
Dermal fillers commonly last between approximately 6 and 18 months. The result may last for a shorter or longer period depending on the treatment area, filler used, amount placed and your individual response.
You will usually see a change soon after the appointment. However, the area may initially be swollen, so the treatment should be allowed time to settle before the final result is assessed.
You may feel pressure, pinching or brief discomfort while the filler is placed. Sensitivity differs between treatment areas and between individuals. Your practitioner will explain what to expect and how your comfort will be managed. We'll offer you numbing cream to make sure you're as comfortable as possible. Most of our clients find it really tolerable.
Downtime is usually limited, and many people return to their normal activities straight away. Swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising are common temporary effects, so avoid booking immediately before an important event incase you get a little bruise.
All injectable cosmetic procedures carry risks. Common temporary effects include swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness. During your consultation we'll cover the potential risks, product being used, aftercare and what to do if you experience anything unexpected. You're never left wondering. We'r here to help before, during and after your appointment.
The NHS recommends choosing a practitioner who is properly trained, experienced and insured for the procedure. Facebox checks all these boxes so you can rest assured you're in safe hands with us.
Yes, when it is appropriate for your face and goals. Treating more than one area can sometimes create a more balanced result than looking at each feature separately. We offer individual treatments as well as multi-area filler packages.
Our most popular dermal filler package is our mid and lower face restoration package. It targets all the areas that start to lose volume as we age. Scroll up to the popular treatments section of this page for more info.
Dermal fillers add support, shape or volume beneath the skin. Anti-wrinkle injections work differently by reducing the activity of selected muscles responsible for certain expression lines. We'll be able to explain which approach best matches the concern you have noticed during your consultation.
If you've booked for fillers but it turns out a different treatment is more suitable for your concerns, this is not a problem at all. We'll be more than happy to change this for you on the day. We'll never inject filler if we feel it's not the best option for you.
Not for everyone. Your medical history, medications, previous procedures, skin condition and expectations must be assessed before treatment. Certain health conditions or circumstances may mean treatment should be postponed or avoided. We'll have a chat with you during the appointment to make sure you are suitable before injecting.
Many hyaluronic-acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme when clinically appropriate. We offer filler dissolving at Facebox London if you have previous filler you want to get rid of. It may be that we recommend dissolving before refiling if you have filler that has migrated, or requires a start-again approach to achieve the results you desire.
